Life in the Fast Lane

I'd like to clear something up real quick before we delve too much into the dark recesses of my mind...

On snow days, the fast lane is reserved for 4-wheel drive vehicles ONLY!!!

But if you're in a 2-wheel drive vehicle and feel the need for speed, DO NOT pull in front of a faster 4-wheel drive vehicle and put on your brakes. Because we may GO well in the snow, but we do not STOP well.

(The above thoughts randomly popped into my head this morning as I was driving to work!)

And yes, I'm am one of those 4-wheel drive vehicle owners. And I may seem masochistic (is that the right word) for saying this, but I LOVE driving in bad weather. Probably mostly because I can, when some others can't. But I just think it's fun!

This is my car:

Except my car's a little lighter blue color.

This is what my car looks like today:

It must be so cold under all that snow. (Your computer is working fine, yes, that's just a plain white picture!) I feel bad, kinda, but not bad enough to get off my lazy bum and go scrape it off!

Happy snow day! Drive safe!

I am totally a two-wheel drive slow poke, but NEVER in the fast lane. I'm the car that's going 20 when I could be safe going 50. I HATE SNOW!!! I guess it's because I don't know how to drive in it, and I HATE scraping off my car all the time. Snow just makes everything awful. Here's all the ways it slows a day up...getting out the door (need more layers of clothes), brushing off car, waiting for defrosters to clear windows, driving so slowly, driving so slowly, and driving so slowly. There may be more. I reserve the right to add to this list as I think of them! Don't be surprised when you hear that Evan and I are moving to Arizona, Georgia, Mexico, Brazil, Thailand, Louisiana, South Carolina, San Diego...anywhere we don't have to deal with snow.
