And I didn't mean to laugh, or maybe I did, because there are so many ways she could've gotten her point across, but it's so Leah to come up with something like that!
But anyways, ... 7th grade... do you even remember? I was SO awkward, and SO tall, and SO quiet/shy (and you think I'm not much of a talker now, you should've seen me then)!
On a totally unrelated topic, I ran to WalMart today for lunch. My goal was to find a fresh fruit cup, a deli sandwich/wrap, and a Dr. Pepper (cuz I don't got much pep today). As I was waiting in the "10 items or less" line to check out I noticed the two people behind me also appeared to be buying their lunches and it made me feel somewhat normal to be among the lunch-buying crowd who prefer WalMart to the Quiznos across the street. (Well, I don't actually "prefer" WalMart, but my budget does!) I decided to glance at the few folks in front of me to see if they also appeared to be buying their lunch and I couldn't help but snickering when I noticed the Mexican-looking man in front of me was buying only a 50 count bag of tortillas.
Does it make me a racist if I thought that was funny?

I told you not to put that in your blog! SHAME! But, then, I guess you wouldn't have the blog that you do if you heeded everyone's crys for anonymity.
It really was good to see you. And I agree, it is odd that after not seeing each other forever we can get together and chat 2 and a half hours away. Especially when I have a hard time making conversation with some people for 15 minutes. I guess it goes to show that we are good, er, the best, company: "the company of clever, well-informed people, who have a great deal of conversation; that is what I call good company." "You are mistaken," said he gently, "that is not good company, that is the best."

Just one request. I think you should have included a 7th grade picture to go along with this post:)
Can't wait to see you next week at the reception.
